Just listened to "Ek pyaar ka nagma hai" again. The first stanza, especially, is Wonderful!
"Kuch paakar khona hai,
Kuch khokar paana hai.
Jeevan ka matlab to,
Aana aur jaana hai.
Do pal ke jeevan se,
Ek umr churani hai.
Jindagi aur kuch bhi nahi,
Teri meri kahani hai."

Nice lines. I have always loved these.
I think many of these oldies mean different things to you at different stages of your life, but have that constant profundity in them all the time no matter what stage you are at.
